Approved on March 1, 1965 by NASA to accompany space missions, the Speedmaster Omega chronograph became legendary on the wrist of Buzz Aldrin in 1969 during the Apollo 11 mission. To this day, the Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional remains the only watch to having been to the moon, hence its nickname "The Moonwatch".
