The original company was founded in Geneva in 1839 by two exiled Polish watchmakers:

Antoine Norbert de Patek and François Czapek

Patek Philippe specializes in very high quality watches. The firm is one of the few to have archived

the contact details of all its customers since the start of its activity. It brought many novelties to watchmaking,

such as the wristwatch for women or even winding watches (easy to wind).
