Rolex GMT - Master II Batman Ref 116710 BLNR Full Set 2013

Rolex GMT-Master II ref 116710 was among the first 6-digit stainless steel models to hit the market. When it was released in the mid-2000s, it introduced the series to a new-style "Super Case" with broader lugs and a larger crown guard, a new-style bracelet to match the case, Maxi hour markers on the dial, a newer cal. 3186 Perpetual movement, and a new bezel mounting. Reference 116710 proved to be incredibly successful, and, in 2013, the black and blue bezel edition hit the market. Dubbed the "Rolex Batman," this variation of the famed pilot's watch features a contemporary two-tone ceramic bezel insert. When it was released, this two-tone ceramic bezel was the first of its kind, earning it a place in the brand's history and making reference 116710BLNR a very prized collector's item.  It has since been discontinued to make way for the current-production model 126710.
